The Tournament
The tournament will take place at Brøndby Stadium which consists of 19 very well prepared pitches. This means that all matches will be played in the same area creating an intense atmosphere (without interuptions due to travel between pitches).
Accomodation is offered at local schools. For the most part in walking distance from the stadium. Free shuttle busses will be available for those stay a little further away. Check-in opens on Saturday July 31 at 10.00 am. Latest check-out is Friday August 6 in the morning.
Preliminary matches
Teams are divided into groups of at least 4 teams each, and all teams play against each other. These matches will be played on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Final rounds.
Playoff is played for all rankings meaning that all teams play a number of matches against teams at roughly the same level. Playoff will be played on Wednesday and Thursday. Both level A and B teams play full time finals in accordance with danish regulations.
Players who meet the required ages may participate in two age classifications. Age dispensation will be given for up to 3 players per squad. However, only 2 age dispensations will be given to teams in 7 player tournaments. Dispensations must be applied for no later than July 1, 2010. Once the tournament is running, further dispensation will not be given.All Brøndby Cup players must present valid id on request. In 11 player tournaments there is a maximum of 16 players per match, whereas 7 player tournaments may have an unlimited number of players
