Denmark's best elite youth tournament we call Brøndby Elite Cup! That's what Brondby Cup management says. It is a stated objective it to get better and better every year.
-    The plan with the Elite Cup is to become Scandinavia's best and strongest tournament in the Elite U13, U14 & U15 ranks within 5 years, says Elite Cup responsible Kenneth Brogaard.
-    My expectations for this year's cup is very high. Already, the tournament can be described as one of the strongest ever. Great teams from Denmark, with teams like FC Midtjylland, Vejle BK, FC Nordsjælland, Lyngby BK, OB and Brøndby IF

This year's Brondby Cup is also pleased to welcome the Faeroe U15 national team and Syrianska FC, Sollentuna Fotball and BK Näset from Sweden participating in the U14 series and it's also our intention to give the tournament a more international dimension in the coming years.

-    In all age groups teams participating have all achieved top rankings in their tournaments, and at the international competitions they have participated in, and I expect that we will witness the great individualists, offensive set teams and most of all clubs, which gives high priority to talent development.

The level of the tournament is confirmed by the fact that DBU (the Danish FA) has selected 192 players born in 1997 for their talent camp. 80 of these players are participating in Brøndby Elite Cup and they come from all over Denmark.
Henrik Poulsen, AB U15 coach, tells about his hopes for the tournament:

- Your expectations for the Cup, the level of the games, your teams performance and the opponents.
- I expect that the level is very high as this is some of the best teams in Denmark. Since it is just the start-up, one can perhaps expect more fight than beautiful football but I am sure that we are many teams that will try to play attractive football. I also expect that not only the teams and the players will be top class but we will also expect proper training conditions and good referees. Everything should be organized in order for us to be able to concentrate on the game on the pitch.
- What is You primary goal for participating in Brøndby Cup ?
- In our case we use the Cup to get the new players into the team and getting players made completely ready for the upcoming tasks in the Elite East tournament.
- What are your expectations of your teams rankings in the cup?
- We have not set ourselves a goal for the ranking. Of course it's always nice to win football matches, but the primary goal is to prepare the team and be ready for the upcoming tournament.
