Brøndby Cup has always had girls football as part of the Cup, and in 2012 we have added the elite ranks of the oldest girls, U18 and U15.

Brøndby IF has in the daily work focuses on talent development with the objective to be the best talent environment in Denmark. It has in recent years reflected in the Brøndby Cup, with a special elite tournament for boys. Now is time for the girls.

In 2012 Brøndby Cup expands the concept of an elite tournament now including the girls. We have invited some of the best Danish and Swedish teams and an American team as well.

All the invited teams performs top rankings in their local tournaments and at the international competitions they participate in. It is our clear expectation that we will witness great individualists, aggressive team-set and most of all clubs that prioritises talents.

Brøndby Cup are constantly seeking to develop the tournament and to offer the teams the best opportunities for development during the tournament. The teams participating in the elite classes can use the tournament as a start-up tournament with the opportunity to practice in the morning and play games later in the day against opponents on the highest level. With this concept we can offer optimal conditions for the teams - and give fans the opportunity to see girls football at high level and thus help to promote interest in the game.
